Recipe(tried): Bread Machine Tip and Thank you for the manual - This is so tubular!

Breads - Bread Machine
I am so grateful for the manual. The breadmaker was a gift from a friend from church. Her daughter had given her the machine, but it did not come with a manual.

I want to say that the lovely people at Red Star Yeast gave me a wonderful tip for a successful loaf of bread: add an egg! Yes, an egg. I take the an immersible blender and mix the liquid and egg together. Then, heat together with the fat and yeast to 85 degrees F. The liquid mixture is then put in the bread pan FIRST. The dry ingredients (which have been sifted together) are added on top of the liquid mixture. I also tend to choose medium to medium dark settings for my breads. If you like garlic bread, add pureed garlic and some dill weed to the pile before you start the machine.
