Recipe: Whole-Wheat Multi-Grain Pancakes (using whole wheat flour and oats)
Breakfast and BrunchWHOLE-WHEAT MULTI-GRAIN PANCAKES
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar or honey
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and make a well in the center.
Combine wet ingredients in another bowl; pour into well. Stir mixture until moistened throughout.
Ladle portions onto a slightly greased griddle, cook until golden brown. Turn and brown the other side.
Makes 6 servings
