Recipe: Winter Tomato Sauce

This is a very good winter tomato sauce.

12 to 14 cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
24 scallions
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves,sliced very thin
1 chopped jalapeno,or more to taste salt

Cook scallions,oil,garlic,salt and chili over med heat until the scallions are very soft,10-15 minutes.Add tomatoes,turning everything over and cook 10-15 more.Taste for salt and chili.Serve over a good boxed spaghetti or narrow penne.
