Recipe: Wyler's Cheeseburger Pie

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
Hi Gelean! I found this recipe that is my Mother's.
It sounds like what you are looking for.

WYLER'S CHEESEBURGER PIE

1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
8 slices Borden process American Cheese Food, divided use
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. Wyler's beef flavor instant bouillon
3 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp flour
chopped tomato, shredded lettuce (optional garnish)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Bake pastry shell for 8 minutes. Remove from oven.

Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees F.

Meanwhile cut 6 slices of the cheese food into pieces; set aside.

In large skillet brown meat, drain fat.

Add tomato sauce, green pepper, onion & bouillon; cook & stir until bouillon dissolves.

Remove from heat, stir in eggs, flour and cheese food pieces. Turn into prepared pastry shell.

Bake at 360 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

Arrange remaining two slices of cheese on top. Return to oven until cheese melts.

Garnish with lettuce & tomato if desired.

I hope this helps. It sounds so good I'm going to make it myself. My Mom said it's easy and tasty!! She thinks she got the recipe from the actual bouillon bottle years ago!!
