Recipe: Yaki Soba (Ramen noodles with ground beef and cabbage)

YAKI SOBA

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 or 4 cups shredded cabbage
2 cups sliced carrots
2 cups chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cups water
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 pkgs. beef flavor Ramen noodles
1 can mushrooms, drained

Fry meat with onion.

Add cabbage, carrots, celery, and green pepper.

Mix together water and soy sauce; add to vegetable mixture along with seasoning packets from noodles. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.

Add mushrooms and noodles. Cook until water is absorbed. Stir and serve.
