ISO: 13 day pickles

Misc.
Never posted at this board but certainly enjoyed all the infor that I have gained. My daughter and I have a large garden this year. Just canned my first 14 pints of green beans. But my question is...does anyone make a 13 day kind of pickle. My mother used to make them. Is a crock the only type of contained that you make use to make them in? I really loved them. Thanks
