ISO: 1930's Turkey Recipe- David Rosengarten

Misc.

Last year on the TV Food Network show Taste with David Rosengarten there was a roasted turkey recipe that came from the 1930's. It involved alot of ingredients for the basting and eventually turned the turkey skin black. When you peeled off the coating you had a beautiful bird. I downloaded the recipe from the TV Food Network but have since lost it. Does anyone have this one or any good ideas where I can look. Thanks.
