ISO: Alber's Cornmeal Tamale Pie
Misc.Hi Everyone!!!
For some reason I have been on this casserole kick and lately been absolutely been craving Tamale Pie for some reason. Dut not just any Tamale Pie. I have been craving the one off the back of the Alber's (I think it was) cornmeal bag form the '70's or maybe the '80's.
My mom used to make it for my dad me, my brother and my sister when I was growing up and I really miss it. Over time of course they, like everything else, changed the recipe and now I can't even find even find that brand of "meal" anymore. Good 'ol ma had it written down once but she seems to have misplaced her copy.
I would really sincerely appreciate it if someone could go into boxes of "skeletons", "dig" this up and share it with me before I need some form of a 12-Step Program.
Gracias!!!
DeAnn
