ISO: angelfood pudding cake

Misc.

am searching fo a recipe for an angelfood cake/pudding that starts with the cake torn up, put back in the cake pan and then covered with some kind of custard. don't know if it is baked or refrigerated, but the texture is very light and very moist (almost wet). the cake held it's shape (it was cut with a knife, not spooned) on the plate and had whipping cream as frosting. it actually melted in my mouth and has a very vanilla flavor. the person wouldn't give me the recipe, so of course, now i am spending WAYYY too much time searching for the recipe.
