ISO: Anyone have a pudding cake recipe like Betty Crocker's old mix?

I'm looking for a recipe for Pudding Cake (lemon or chocolate) that I remember my mother making from a mix back in the 1950's and 60's. It was probably from Betty Crocker. As I remember, it came out with a warm pudding base with a cake "crust" on top. You just spooned it into dishes to serve. Most of the recipes I have found are really just cake mixes with pudding added for moistness. What I am looking for is very different from a cake. My sister and I would love to find a recipe that approximates the old mix.
