ISO: Baby Shower Menu

I have given baby showers for my daughter in laws before and am tired of the same thing- yet I want it healthy but not too complicated. I have the desserts and salad handled but need something different to replace the "meatballs" or "cold cut trays". Does anyone have any ideas ? It will be in August- so it will be hot here in Pa...and there will be about 35-50 people. I know there are alot of good recipes out there but cannot seem to find that perfect something...Help!!
You all have such good ideas and recipes so maybe someone will have just what I need.....
