ISO: Bane Calde, Italian anchovie dip to serve with anise or veggies and fresh mushro

Misc.
I need a recipe for a Bane Calde, hope I spelled in right. It is a Italian dip made with anchovies and butter or olive oil and garlic. Served with anise, veggies, bread sticks, mushrooms. Can be served hot or room temp.

This is a dip my grandfather used to make for New Years Eve. He was from Northern Italy around Torino.
