Recipe: Microwave Baked Apples (using maple syrup)

MICROWAVE BAKED APPLES

4 large baking apples, cored
1/2 cup Log Cabin Syrup or Reduced Calorie Syrup
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cut thin slice off bottom of each apple to form a flat surface. Place apples in microwavable casserole.

Mix syrup, margarine and cinnamon in small bowl. Spoon into center of each apple. Cover loosely with wax paper.

Microwave on HIGH 10 minutes or until apples are tender, rotating dish halfway through cooking time.

Makes 4 servings
