ISO: Carrot Soup

I am searching for a reciepe for Carrot Soup in attempt to create soup I have eaten at a Jamacian Resturant. I believe the soup has coconut milk in it but am not sure. It is a cream base and was somewhat sweet, searved with the cornbread full of corn and hot peppers, it was heavenly. Thanks
