ISO: Desparately seeking lost pickle recipe..

Misc.
I've lost the best dill pickle recipe I ever had. The recipe called for lining the bottom of a wide-mouth jar with grape leaves. Then cloves of garlic and spices mixed according to the recipe were placed in the jar. I remember sticking Dill stems between fresh cucumbers in each jar. I think I used Tumeric in the brine, but the recipe for the brine escapes my memory. The pickles cured in the jars for a couple of months. They were wonderful, I would love to start making them again. Does this method of making Dills sound familiar to anyone? If you have a recipe like this that you are willing to share with me, I promise to be your best friend for life! Thanks so much, Lynda
