ISO: Dress-up clothes ideas

Hi, my grand-daughter has asked for dress-up clothes for her birthday gift. I would appreciate your ideas as to what I can make/sew, etc. We have no thrift shop in our small northern town and this grandma seems to have a closet full of sweats, tees and bluejeans. I do have the usual sewers mega stash of material so I hope you can help. Thanks.
