ISO: Eclair cake of another kind!

Hi,
I used to live in Buffalo, Ny and my friend had a recipe for an Eclair cake that actually was like an eclair, with a puffy type of cake bottom, pudding and I remember chocolate syrup drizzlied on top, it wasn't the graham cracker one. My mom used to make that, the other is very good, does any one know what I'm talking about?
