ISO: Gooey cake

This cake has a crust that has yeast in it, and other things, and then filling that is all butter almost, and then you sprinkle it with Confectioners sugar. It was on the t.v. but no way to get recipe. was from aabout 80 yeaars ago, old recipe, bakery used
