ISO: grandma's chicken

Misc.
My grandmother made a wonderful chicken dinner for my birthday. Some of the ingredients were wine, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. She began by browning it, then transfered to oven. It made a wonderful sauce to spoon over white rice. When I asked her for the recipe, she said a doctor gave it to her many years ago. Any clues?
