ISO: Grandma's Cole Slaw Dressing

I am searching for a recipe for cole slaw dressing like my
Bohemian grandmother used to make. It was made with fresh cream, sugar, vinegar, a spice maybe celery seed,not sure.
She added apple slices sometimes, as well as other fruit. It was soo delicious it still makes may mouth water,
50 years later.If you have a similar recipe,please send it on. She lived on a farm,hence the FRESH cream.
