HELP I NEED A RECIPE FOR PUMPKIN SOUP!!!

Can anyone give me a good recipe for pumpkin soup?? I went to a luncheon and pumpkin soup was served. Alas I could not get the recipe. I am to afraid of experimenting on a pumpkin. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can someone help me by giving me a recipe for pumpkin soup.
