Recipe(tried): Smitty's Sauce (Smitty's Birdland)

Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
SMITTY'S SAUCE

2 2/3 cups white distilled vinegar
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup yellow prepared mustard
1 cup lemon juice
4 tablespoons crushed hot red pepper
3 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard (mix mustard with a little water to make a paste and whisk into other ingredients so it won't clump)

Add all ingredients to saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes or longer.

Enjoy on anything and everything...including, yes, vanilla ice cream. However, we like it best on fried chicken.
