ISO: How long can I keep ears of corn in frig

I am having a big picnic in 11 days. I promised a big corn cooking (boiling ears) from my garden but much of my sweet corn is ready to harvest now. How long can I keep it in a frig? What's the best way (keep them in the husks?). Or should I go ahead and freeze them?
