ISO: How to clean bread machine paddle

I just got a used Welbilt Bread Machine 4100T without a manual. It seems to work okay -this is my first try. BUT, How do I clean the bottom of the paddle? The dough was hard to get cleaned off. It took a while to get the loaf out of the pan also. Help and advice very welcome! Thanks.
