ISO: In Search of a Sponge Toffee Recipe

I am searching for a recipe to make sponge toffee. For those not familiar with
what sponge toffee is, it is what is found inside a Cadbury "Crunchie" candy
bar. I have been unable to locate a recipe for this anywhere. If anyone can
help me out I would be eternally grateful!
