ISO: Information about blueberries

Misc.
I know everybody is busy with Thanksgiving planning and prep, but I hope someone can take a minute to answer my question. I want to make a lemon-blueberry loaf to take to my MIL's for Thanksgiving, but I need to make it with frozen blueberries. Do I need to thaw them first, or pre-treat them in any way before dumping them into the batter? Or can I use them straight from the freezer?
Thanks in advance, and best wishes for a happy and heartfelt Thanksgiving to all my TRL friends!
