ISO: ISO dried yellow peas made with coconut milk

Misc.
I had this recipe years ago and have misplaced it.
My hubby asked me to make it again recently.
It contains dried yellow split peas, onions,
lots of spices (tumeric, ginger, red pepper)
and it's best to fry up some potatoes and put them
in last.
It may be East Indain in nature.
Please help
