ISO: Koala Cookies - I have been searching for these cookies for years!

I remember these cookies at various coffee shops in the Twin Cities (hello Cafe Wyrd!) and Duluth. Suddenly I never saw them again. Would love to know how to make these or where to find them. Apparently there are many of us out there looking for them!
