Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
These are the Kolachky that my mother has made for christmas for years..they are kinda different.

1 lb (2 cups) butter or margarine, softened
2 pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
enough flour to make a soft dough
your favorite filling
confectioner's sugar (for garnish)

Mix the above 3 ingredients together until well blended. Refrigerates for several hours to make dough eaiser to handle.

WHEN READY TO BAKE:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Roll out dough and use your favorite filling (walnut, lacvar, etc.) Roll up like a cinnamon roll and slice in 1/4 inch slices; place on a baking sheet

Bake until set, 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees F. immedieatly after removing from oven. roll in confectioners sugar and place on cooling rack cool completely.

These cookies freeze very well.
