ISO: Looking for a good potato soup recipe

Misc.
I would like to have a recipe for potato soup that is more of a chowder.

Sam's Club has the packages of soup season that is really good but they don't carry it year round and when it's gone, that's it.

Theirs has thinly sliced potatoes, dill, shredded carrots and other spices that I'm not sure of. It's sort of thick, like clam chowder

Can anyone help?
