Recipe: Skillet Hamburger Au Gratin (using au gratin potatoes mix, 1970's)
Main Dishes - Beef and Other MeatsSKILLET HAMBURGER AU GRATIN
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (4.7 oz) box Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes (dry mix)
2 1/4 cups water
2/3 cup milk
Cook and stir ground beef and salt in 10-inch skillet until beef is brown; drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
Makes 4 servings
