ISO: Lost Candy log recipe

My mother used to make a candy log. No one in the family seems to have the recipe any more. It is like a rocky road but I don't think it really was.

It was like a fudge with little marshmallows and cherries. It was formed into a log and rolled in coconut.

Does anyone have a recipe for this.
