ISO: Lucky Bamboo Care

I have just received what I think is a Lucky Bamboo. It has 4 stalks that are braided together and is about 6 inches in height. My question is I don't know how to care for it. I have read previous answers but they talk about bamboos that are in water or rock. My bamboo is in dirt like a house plant. The person who gave it to me said that it will grow into a tree. Does anybody have any suggestions of how to care for this?
