ISO: Marshall Fields sandwich counter salad dressing (1980s)

Misc.
I am trying hard to find a recipe for a salad dressing I used to get at the Marshall Fields sandwich\salad counter on 7th floor in Chicago in late 1980s. It was like a thick, creamy mild horseradishy sour cream dressing. Anybody out there have any ideas?
