ISO: Nutrition: Fresh fruit vs dried fruit?

Misc.
My Father asked me what if dried fruit is as nutritious as fresh fruit. He loses fresh fruit to spoilage quite often and wants to try to avoid it by buying dried fruit instead. I don't know the answer, and thought someone here might. Thanks.
