ISO: Pink Champagne Cake

I would like a tested & trusted recipe for Pink Champagne Cake. I'd like to make it for a co-worker's birthday. She remembers a bakery in the Bay area having it in the 60's & also @ Gruggy's in Phoenix. I've not heard of this cake nor do I know what it is like. Help!!
