ISO: Pumpkin pie and light cream

Misc.
I have two questions, both relating to dairy products.

1. I can't get cannned evaporated milk here in Rio anymore. what can I use to make pumpkin pie?

2. I have a recipe for vanilla fudge that calls for light cream. I have avalible heavy cream, whole milk, 2%, and skim milk. will I get light cream by mixing heavy cream and milk? half and half ?
