ISO: roasted chicken and vegetables tips

Misc.
I'm having trouble cooking whole chickens. The breast is done before the legs and wings. I'm not really sure what temp. to cook it at for the ultimate simple roasted chicken. Also, the potatoes aren't cooking at the same pace the chicken is cooking. We are very plain eaters and want a very simple recipe. Any help with this would be appreciated big time!!!! Thank you. By the way, if anyone wants a great chicken finger recipe that is low fat, I'd be happy to submit. Thanx, E.
