ISO: Sicilian Style Chicken Cacciatore

Am looking for recipe for Sicilian style chicken cacciatore that friend (who's father was chef in
Sicily) once made for me. It began with stewed
chicken (on bone) and contained no tomatoes---sauce
was chicken broth colored and she served it over
fettucine. She said her father said this was the
way they made cacciatore when he lived in Sicily.
