SWEET CHILE-GARLIC STIR-FRY SAUCE
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine or dry sherry
1 1/2 teaspoons chile garlic sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer until thickened and glossy, about 1 minute.
Yield about 1 cup (enough for a stir-fry dish for 4 to 6 people)
