ISO: Southern Black Eyed Pea Soup

Misc.
For New Years I would love to make this sensational black-eyed pea soup recipe that I made many years ago. The recipe came from the Jimmy Carter Family Cookbook which was out in the 1970s. If anyone anyone just happens to know of this recipe, or has a good recipe for Southern Black Eyed Pea Soup, I would be very grateful.
Thank you and Happy New Year to all.
