DEVILED CRABS
1/4 pound butter, melted
12 saltines, mashed
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sherry
Pinch of dry mustard
Pinch of minced parsley
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 pound crab meat
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Pour melted butter over cracker crumbs; save out 4 teaspoons butter to put on top of the stuffed crabs.
Add mayonnaise and other seasonings to crumbs, then mix in the crab meat with fork to keep from breaking up.
Fill 6 large crab shell backs generously, then sprinkle with cracker crumbs, pouring the reserved butter on top.
Bake in 400 degree F oven for 30 minutes. Serve piping hot.
