ISO: Special Sour Cabbage Rolls

Had very special cabbage rolls at a buffet event and was unable to get recipe. They were meatless, Made with sour cabbage leaves, and the sauce that they cook in was sweet cream - it did not contain tomatoes at all. Is there any help out there with this recipe.
