ISO: Spices for a Dutch Pork Roulade(more)

Misc.
Calling all Dutch(German?) cooks. We are looking for a recipe to make a pork roulade. I remember my uncle buying a pork roast and on it he sprinkled LOTS of powdered cloves and salt. We were shocked! You couldn't taste it that he had so much on it. Oh, was it ever good! But we're not sure whether there were more spices involved. Do any of you know how to make this?
