ISO: Strawberry shortcake-cake!

Misc.
Several years ago, at a neighborhood potluck, someone brought a strawberry shortcake. It was made in a 9x13" pan. It seemed to be made with a white cake mix, but I am not sure. It appeared that the cake was split in half horizontally ... and the filling was fresh sliced strawberries and some kind of whipped cream. The frosting was similar to a whipped cream. Anyone have this recipe, it's very good and I would love to have it! Thanks.
