ISO: Sweet Plum Sauce (using fresh plums)

Misc.
I have searched for hours without result for a Sweet Plum Sauce recipe made with fresh plums. I would particularly love a sauce recipe that I can use with ice cream and other desserts. I have found may fruit butter recipes that I can't wait to try, but I would prefer a sweet sauce in this instance. Hope somone can help.
