ISO: The Mother yeast

Recipe I am looking for a that was call many years ago "The Mother yeast" my grandmother had it and would take off what she need to bake her bread and wrap it back up...I should there was more to it then that. She had to feed it and as a kid I didn't see that part of it; but the bread was out of this world. I would like to show my grand children this and so they can taste the past and know more about past grandma life on the farm....I am so new with this it's not funny. My son past away a few years back and I can hear him saying go for it Mom you can do it....well I hope that I did it right....Thanks for all the help....God Bless all cooks...Gigi(new kid on the block)
