ISO: Woodworm

Misc.
I have an antique wooden kitchen unit that I purchased in England and it has what I, being English, call woodworm. But when I go to the hardware store to get something to treat it they don't know what I am talking about. I was sold a spray that would "kill all bugs" but it didn't kill the woodworm. Can anyone tell me what I can ask for. The holes in the wood look like they have been made by someone sticking pointed darts it it.
I know if it is left much longer my unit will be just a pile of dust so I really would appreciate some help. Thank you Karen
