ISO: Would like to try canning but have no canner
Misc.I would like to try canning & have the Ball glassed 'cans'. But have no canner? Is that the right word.
Is there any way I can boil the cans in a large pot & what would the difference be in recipes when canning in this fashion .... if I can do it that way.
I'm sure that there had to be a time when people canned without all the special equipment we have now.
I just got a huge crop of tomatoes & would like to save some for the winter.
Also s there a recipe that I can freeze either tomato sauce or salsas etc.
Thank you in advance for your assistance/
