Thank You: Sicilian Easter Egg Cookies

Thank you for posting. I think this is what my family calls (pronounced)Cunaduna. My grandmother from the Trapani provence of Sicily made these. Every time I've researched, I've come up with an Italian yeast bread recipe, but yours is closer to what I remember, except ours had anise flavoring. Did your family cut these into a sort of fish shade too? Does anyone have a picture?
